Young star returns to big cybersport

Evil Geniuses have officially announced on Twitter that Owen oBo Schlatter is the new CS:GO roster player. He will replace the previously departed Ethan Arnold.

oBo joins Evil Geniuses

Seventeen-year-old oBo has been known to the world since June 2019. That's when Jason Lake believed in him and decided to sign the young talent to Complexity. That same month he played his first serious LAN tournament, namely the ECS Season 7 Finals, where the team managed to finish in 5th-6th place, earning $25,000. Owen was part of Complexity until September 2020. Due to homesickness, the guy made a questionable decision. At one point, without telling anyone, he announced that he didn't want to play anymore and flew home to North America. At the time, his team was actively participating in online tournaments in Europe. The most significant event for oBo for Complexity, was winning the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Finals, where they managed to beat Vitality 2-1 in the final.
