"The Ocean Is Boiling" - A Week at Summoner's Rift

Hello everyone! We're back to the weekly "Week in Summoner's Rift"! In this issue you will find out:

  • Why is the ocean boiling around Iceland?
  • What position will Bwipo play?
  • Which team will Selfmade join?

Mid-Season Invitational 2021

At the MSI 2021 tournament, which takes place in the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, passions ran high and the ocean boiled. Of course not literally, but hot matches and beautiful moments from the teams may well contribute to this.

Groups A and B ended up playing, bringing Royal Never Give Up, Pentanet.GG, MAD Lions and PSG Talon to the next stage. Read more about it here.

Unfortunately for CIS fans, Unicorns of Love in a persistent tiebreak against the Australians lost and lost their chances of passing further.

The group stage will end on May 11, when the matches of group C are finished.

League News

Bwipo recently confirmed that it will no longer be at the top of the Fnatic team. Does this mean that he is moving to another organization? It is not yet known, but a player's Smurf account was recently found, on which he plays in the jungle.

There are new rumors about Selfmade. According to information from the Esportmaniacos portal, Vitality may sign the former Fnatic jungler and mousesports' midlaner - LIDER. Fnatic is looking for a sub jungler.

The developers have released a preview of patch 11.10 on Twitter. Of the main changes:

  • Bard will reduce the damage from a passive skill;
  • Darius will use his E skill less often;
  • Lux will do more damage;
  • Hidden Goredrinker nerf;
  • Buff Yuumi.

A more detailed list of changes can be found on the developers' twitter.
