Unexpectedly for everyone, Unicorns Of Love lost both of their CTRL PLAY and CrowCrowd matches last week, forcing them to play CC again for third place in the group stage. In the replay, UOL was caught off guard by Kha'Zix's unexpected pick and they took 4th place, dropping 3 positions in a week.

Thus, in the semifinals, UOL will fight OBG, and Gambit Esports will face CrowCrowd.

Also at the end of the week CTRL PLAY and Vega Squadron fought for the pre-day spot. The sharks managed to outplay the enemy and take with them 250,000 RUR in prize money.

The playoffs in Europe opened with three stubborn matches: Fnatic knocked SK Gaming out of the fight for the trophy, G2 barely beat FC Schalke 04, and MAD Lions unexpectedly knocked Rogue into the lower bracket.

Next week, Fnatic and S04 will fight for the right to play Rogue, while G2 and MAD Lions will play in the Upper Bracket Final.
