Predicts on play-off Weplay Animajor 2021- Day One

We share our predictions for the first day of the playoffs of the Weplay Animajor 2021 stage. Immediately you need to understand that the Chinese region is much stronger than everyone else, with the exception: Nigma from Europe and Virtus.pro from the CIS. We don't expect anything about NoPing e-sports, Alliance, T1, but Quincy Crew is in good shape.

11:00 CET - T1 vs Team Aster @ BO3

Team Aster is China's top 1 against T1, who were the strongest in the Southeast Asia region. It's hard to imagine what the Filipinos can show. The Chinese are contenders to win this Major. While there is no point in evaluating the teams' play, a lot will be seen after today's playing day.

Bookmakers: 1.35 for Team Aster and 3.42 for T1

Predict: Team Aster will defeat T1 with a score of 2:0 - odds 1.87

14:00 CET - Alliance vs PSG.LGD @ BO3

Many consider PSG.LGD to be lucky with Alliance, but European teams should never be underestimated, especially when on the ppd coaching slot. We're also leaning towards LGD, but expect to see all three cards. Although the group stage can be noted for the excellent form PSG.LGD and in particular NothingToSay, so the Chinese can cover them and 2: 0.

Bookmakers: 3.092 for Alliance and 1.412 for PSG.LGD

Predict: PSG.LGD will beat Alliance 2:1 - odds 3.16

17:00 CET - Virtus.pro vs. Nigma @ BO3

Match of the day! Virtus.pro will face Nigma; iLTW vs. Former Club. Nygma got into wonderful shape at the end of Wildcard and the group stage, but showed her key heroes and strategies. You should be wary of them: Enchantress, IO, Puck, Invoker, Morphling.

Bookmakers: 2.27 on Virtus.pro; 1.692 on Nigma

Predict: Virtus.pro will beat Nigma at Weplay Animajor 2021 - odds 2.27

20:00 - Quincy Crew vs. NoPing e-sports @ BO3

QC finally made it to the Major in full force, at the last tournament they played with a replacement, as MSS was unable to visit Singapore. They had two replacements there at once and they were forced to play initially with MiLAN, but then they took Poloson for themselves, since the Bosnian also could not fly.

Quincy Crew, in our opinion, is a "dark horse" in the tournament, which will definitely surprise. Obviously, they were lucky to have 1 opponent in the playoffs, we don't expect anything from NoPing e-esports, the South American region is failing this tournament.

Bookmakers: 1.422 on Quincy Crew and 3.048 on NoPing e-sports

Predict: Quincy Crew will easily beat NoPing e-sports with a score of 2:0 - odds 2.23
