The organizers of EPICENTER 2019 in CS:GO have revealed the teams draw for the tournament’s group stage. Day earlier, they published the schedule of matches and explained which format will be used at the event.

In Group A, all eyes of the CIS community are on NAVI. Natus Vincere were drawn into one quartet with the French squad of Team Vitality. Apart from them, there are also two winners of the regional qualifiers in Europe and China, which are Heroic and EHOME, respectively.
In Group B, on the other hand, two line-ups from CIS found their place. This is where AVANGAR and the winners of DreamHack Open Winter, forZe, will start off their showing. There, they will be up against Evil Geniuses and mousesports, who filled in for FNATIC.

EPICENTER 2019 is set to begin with the GSL group stage. Upon its completion, six participants would move on to the Playoffs, which will run in the bracket of Single Elimination. Every match at the tournament is Best of 3.
The championship will be held on December 17-22 in Crocus Expo Hall (Moscow, Russia), where eight teams will battle it out for a $500,000 prize-pool. FaZe Clan are the reigning champions of the series, but they will not be in attendance this year.
