Kiev will host the second Major of this season from WePlay

The second Dota 2 Major-tournament of this season will take place in Kiev, and WePlay will be the organizer. The championship will be held from 2 to 13 June at WePlay Esports Arena Kyiv.

WePlay AniMajor will be the last Major of this season and the penultimate chance for teams to qualify for the main event of the last two years - The International 10.

18 teams will compete for a total prize pool of $500,000. The tournament, like the last one, will be held in three stages: Wild Card, group stage and playoffs.

WildCard: 6 teams in a single round-robin system, all matches are best of 2, the best 2 teams advance to the group stage, the rest of the teams are eliminated.

Group stage: 8 teams in a single round-robin system, all matches are best of 2, the best 2 teams go to the upper bracket, 3-6 places will go to the lower bracket. The rest of the teams are eliminated.

Playoffs: system - double elimination, matches in the format - best of 3, grand final - best of 5.

1st place: $200,000 + 500 DPC points
2nd place: $100,000 + 450 DPC points
3rd place: $75,000 + 400 DPC points
4th place: $50,000 + 350 DPC points
5th-6th place: $25,000 + 300 DPC points
7th-8th place: $12,500 + 200 DPC points
