The organizers of IEM Katowice 2021 held a group stage draw and published the first pairs of the group stage.
The top three teams in each group advance to the playoffs, first to the semi-finals, second to the top-seeded quarterfinals, and third to the lowest.
Group "A" will include: Astralis, Evil Geniuses, G2 Esports, Heroic, Gambit Esports, Team Spirit, BIG and mousesports.
In group "B" we will see: Vitality, FaZe Clan, FURIA Esports, Natus Vincere, OG, Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pajamas and Virtus.pro.
