FURIA to attend cs_summit 5 without HEN1

The Brazilian team, FURIA Esports will participate in cs_summit 5 without Henrique "HEN1" Teles. There, he will be temporarily replaced by the lineup’s coach, Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira, the organization has announced on Twitter.

According to the official announcement, HEN1 has to renew his US visa, and now he is in Brazil, going through the application process. Henrique will be back in action at Champions Cup Finals, which is scheduled for December 19-22, and to which the Brazilian five received a direct invitation from the organizers.

It’s not the first time in 2019 when guerri comes back to server as a player of FURIA. In July, he stood in for the team at ESEA S31 Global Challenge, replacing Rinaldo "ableJ" Moda Júnior. Just as HEN1, the esport athlete dealt with visa issues. At that tournament, the Brazilians took the first place and earned a participant spot in the ESL Pro League.

HEN1 joined FURIA Esports on September 23. Before that, he had played for Luminosity Gaming. With his new squad, Teles took part in four offline-tournaments, achieving the best result at StarSeries i-League S8 where they placed third. During his tenure in FURIA so far, he has averaged a 1.15 rating, which is the second-highest KDR within the team.

The lineup of FURIA at cs_summit 5:

  • Andrei "arT" Piovezan
  • Yuri "yuurih" Santos
  • Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato
  • Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo
  • Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira

The Brazilian roster will kick off their showing in Los Angeles with a match against Virtus.pro. Right afterwards, they will face off against G2 Esports. Full schedule for this tournament can be found in our viewer’s guide.
