Astralis, Liquid proceed to ESL Pro League S10 Finals playoffs

Day Two of ESL Pro League S10 Finals is over. Following its results, Astralis and Liquid have secured two tickets to the Playoff stage, the team list of which already features NAVI and Evil Geniuses.

On the way to the upper-bracket final of Group B, Astralis defeated the new line-up of Renegades and G2 Esports. They beat the French-Serbian roster in an intense Best of 3 with a 2-1 score: 13-16 Dust2, 19-15 Inferno, 16-14 Train. Despite the loss, it was G2’s AWPer Kenny "kennyS" Schrub who topped the scoreboard, averaging a 1.34 KDR in 3 maps (78-51 K-D, 86.2 ADR).

Team Liquid started off their showing at the tournament in Odense with a victory over North. The NA squad won over the Danes on Vertigo, 16-12, and after that, they faced off against mousesports. In the end, TL prevailed over them with a 2-1 result: 16-5 Nuke, 12-16 Vertigo, 16-14 Dust2.

In the meantime, four teams - MIBR, FaZe Clan, North, and Sharks Esports - were eliminated from the competition. Before that, it was TYLOO and Heroic who were knocked out of the event, as they ended up on the last 13-16th place.
